![]() ![]() During heated gaming sessions, I did not find myself clicking on any of the buttons whatsoever, and their soft, clicky nature ensured that every button press was audible and well registered. The side buttons are rigid enough and do not click easily, which works in its favor as your thumb rests squarely in the middle of them. Again, the size and shape of the mouse took some getting used to, but the lightweight of the device helped in not weighing it down too much during quick movements. It will fill out your entire palm due to the additional buttons, and the sizable bulge in the middle of the device gives ample stability. ![]() Honestly, after editing with this mouse, it will be hard for me to go back to a regular one, and I guess that says a lot about how intuitive the buttons were to use.Īerox 9 Wireless also nails the comfort, especially for being such a large and chunky device. Of course, it does take time for the muscle-memory connection to settle in, but after a few days of use, I could easily remember which button did what, and find them without even looking at the mouse. However, I resorted to tuning these buttons to aid me in editing in Photoshop and Premiere Pro, giving each of the buttons a separate command or a macro to quickly execute functions that would otherwise take me multiple key presses. Now, I do not claim to be a heavy MOBA player, and have only lightly dabbled in Dota 2, so I cannot tell you how effective these buttons would be during a game. The top row is smaller and recessed into the shell, the middle row has a smooth curvature on the top, while the bottom row buttons are slightly wider. They are stacked on top of each other into a small space, but are easy to tell apart thanks to their subtle distinctive features. The most impressive part about the design is how well these buttons are placed and how easy it is to use them. Only here, the outer shell features the typical honeycomb design to achieve the ultra-lightweight status, and the side buttons are entirely replaced with twelve chunky little buttons to aid in your MOBA adventures. The Aerox 9 Wireless shares many design elements from Steelseries Rival 5, a popular gaming mouse released sometime last year. ![]()
